Beauty Secrets of Japan

  • Skincare / Personal care

Mami’s grandmother washed her face with rice bran and azuki (red bean) powder. Her preference to use natural ingredients influenced Mami and when Mami started to make soaps herself, she looked for ingredients in the Japanese healthy diet.

In addition to azuki (red bean) and ganmai (rice bran), she has medicinal plants soaps such as burdock root, Japanese basil, chameleon plants, and mugwort.

Most of her products are made for the face, but her new Daizu (soya milk) soap is especially good for people with sensitivities. She now has a Tsubaki shampoo bar which contains organic camellia (Tsubaki) oil.
